Greetings From The President of the St Albans Rotary Club

 

 I'm delighted to have been chosen the 2011-2012 President of the Rotary Club of St. Albans, West Virginia. I look forward to working with you and this community in promoting our club and the endless realm of possibilities during our year of “Service Above Self”.

 

The 2011-2012 Rotary International President, Kalyan Bannerjee, said his Rotary Theme for this year involves a journey to:

Reach Within to Embrace Humanity  that emphasizes first the Family because the family is the starting point for everything Rotary is trying to accomplish.  The second emphasis involves continuing and strengthening those things Rotarians already do well.  The third emphasis citing Mahatma Gandhi’s call to "be the change you wish to see in the world," Rotarians should also focus on becoming the “change agent” for their communities and the world.

 

St Albans Rotary does many great things in our community. This wouldn’t be true without all of us. The key to achieving so much is membership. New members and membership retention are critical to our Rotary's future. The membership of a healthy Rotary club is made up of men and women of different ages, vocations, professions, skills, and talents.

 

My years in Rotary have enriched my life. Continue with me and see how we can enrich our community.
